Celebrating Jack Gig Confirmed!

May 1st 2022

Galway Bay Hotel

I'm happy to say we have now confirmed the date and venue to celebrate Jack, our amazing son who passed on May 1st last year, It will mark a year to the day that Jack left us after bravely battling cancer and we're planning a celebratory gig to acknowledge the way he touched so many lives and gave us so many laughs and memories.

The event will be a ticket only gig and all proceeds will go to the Galway Hospice Foundation and Cancer Care West. Both of these organisations took amazing care of Jack when he was sick and provided badly needed support to the family too. They are both amazing organisations that depend on the support of the public and we are keen to do our little bit to show our appreciation.

The tickets will be on sale soon. There will be a link below which will take you to the Galway Hospice website allowing you to buy tickets. Tickets are limited so get in fast. If you can't make the show but still want to make a donation click on the separate link below. Either way, thank you for supporting.

To kick the night off we'll be having some special karaoke style performances of some of Jack's favourite songs by some of Jack's favourite people. Jack always liked a bit of a sing song so this would be very fitting. Following this, I'll be playing a some of my original tunes live, most of them for the first time - eek!

The venue, the Galway Bay Hotel, Salthill was a deliberate choice as this is where Jack used to work and where he made some great friends, some of whom have been very kind to us since Jack died. We're so grateful to the staff at Galway Bay for accommodating us.

The only thing I can guarantee is that it will be an emotionally charged evening but we plan on having some fun in Jack's name. Anyone who knew Jack will testify that Jack knew how to have fun, so in his honour we're going to try and do the same for him!

If you can make, it will be great to see you at Galway Bay Hotel on may 1st.
